It is not recommended that you drink this water. While it is safe and small amounts are not harmful, this water is too pure and will rob your body of vital minerals and nutrients.
NOTE: Do not plumb our system directly into your household water supply or your RV potable water supply.

Filter Replacement

Turn off  the water supply and drain the system by squeezing the trigger on your hose nozzle. There are different procedures for replacing various filters
NOTE: The following procedures are based on replacing only one filter at a time.

The most replaced filter will be the Spot free (resin)- filter #4. Use the Housing wrench (originally supplied) loosen and unscrew this housing. Remove the filter cartridge and place the new (pre-filled) filter into the same housing.
Screw the housing back in place, hand tighten, then “snug it up” with housing wrench. Do not over tighten.

Abrasive free filter – filter #3 – utilize the same procedure as the spot free replacement per above.
Iron free filter – filter #2 –This procedure is used only when replacing filter #2. Use the housing wrench to loosen and unscrew housings #2 and #3. NOTE: Set #3  housing aside. Remove used filter cartridge from #2 housing and replace with the new “iron free” filter. Install this housing only. Hand tighten, then “snug it up” with housing wrench. Do Not install #3 at this point. Now you will “purge” this #2 filter. With garden hose hooked up to water inlet, turn water supply on for two seconds, then turn off. Repeat this procedure 3-4 times until water coming out is completely  clear to be sure you have flushed all of the filter media dust from the filter. NOW  you will install filter #3. Hand tighten, then “snug it up” with housing wrench.
Chlorine free filter – filter #1 – This procedure is used only when replacing  filter #1. Use the housing wrench to loosen and unscrew housings #1 and #2. NOTE: Set #2 housing aside. Remove used filter cartridge from housing #1 and replace with new “chlorine free” filter. Install this housing only. Hand tighten, then “snug it up” with housing wrench.  Do not install #2 at this point.  Now you will “purge” this #1 filter. With garden hose hooked up to water inlet, turn water supply on for two seconds, then turn off. Repeat this procedure 3-4 times until water coming out is completely  clear to be sure you have flushed all of the filter media dust from the filter. Now you will install filter #2. Hand tighten, then “snug it up” with housing wrench.
